At The Lingenfelter Center we recognize that caring for a loved one with Alzheimer's can be a difficult task to take on. For some, this is a sudden change and for others they have been needing extensive assistance for some time and now need further care.
Long-term care includes a broad range of personal, social, medical services and support that ensure people with, significant loss of intrinsic capacity (due to mental or physical illness and disability) can maintain a level of functional ability consistent with their basic rights and human dignity.
Services that include medical and non-medical care are provided to people who are unable to perform basic activities of daily living such as feeding, dressing, transferring, toileting or bathing.
The Lingenfelter Center aims to prevent, reduce, or rehabilitate functional decline where possible while giving loved ones peace of mind while caring for their family member.
We also aim to help families cope with the change to their loved one and ease stressors with the help of our Alzheimer's support group.
